Thanks to the pelagic visitors that migrate through the strait linking the Pacific and Indian oceans, the waters of Alor are home to various larger species such as hammerhead and thresher sharks, turtles, dolphins, tuna and sunfish. Many stunning rarities like frogfish, pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, mimic octopus, nudibranchs, and even the elusive rhinopias scorpionfish are seen here.

Lazy Turtle Dive Alors'dive center is located directly on the shore of Alor Kecil village, looking out over the islands of Kepa, Pura, Pantar and Ternate. The dive deck is a fantastic location for dolphin spotting, relaxing and watching the sunset. Alor itself offers numerous unspoilt waterfalls, isolated beaches, hot springs with geysers, traditional villages, mountain treks and even a volcano on Pantar island.
